‘Grow, Learn, Achieve Together’

Class 5: RE Week

Class 5 have worked incredibly hard during our RE focus week.  Our question was: What do religions say to us when life gets hard?  As a class, we looked at what 'hard times' and 'suffering' people could go through and that made us want to do something to help others.  To link with our Harvest visit to the Methodist Church, we decided to create a food hamper to send to the local food bank.  In three days, Class 5 made a fantastic hamper and learnt about the impact of generosity, kindness and how much people appreciate it.  It has been a lovely topic and the children should be really proud for making a real difference to the local community.
