‘Grow, Learn, Achieve Together’

Ofsted Report

Our most recent inspection took place on 16th and 17th March 2022.

We are pleased to still be deemed a GOOD school.  We are really proud of the outcome of the report which was complimentary about the school.  We are really pleased that the inspector particularly commented on:

  • the school and staff create a caring atmosphere where everyone is valued equally
  • we have high expectations for behaviour which means that pupils behave well and feel safe in school
  • our curriculum and teaching ensure that all pupils achieve well across the curriculum
  • teachers present the curriculum in an engaging way
  • we have a consistent approach to teaching phonics which leads to children reading confidently and fluently and they achieve well in reading
  • our support for children with SEND which means that they are included in all aspects of school life and are encouraged to become increasingly independent
  • our safeguarding processes to keep our children safe

The full report and a letter from the Chair of Governors is provided at the bottom of the page.

Parentview

Parents will be aware that OfSTED conducts inspections of all schools. Previously, the inspectors sent out a Parents' Questionnaire. This no longer happens and parents are asked to put their comments onto the Parentview  (link here) website.

Comments can be posted at any time, not just when an inspection is taking place. We are proud of our relationship with parents and always have high approval ratings in our annual questionnaires.
