The progress score for Reading is +5.1.  Children at Livingstone achieved on average 5.1 scaled score points more than pupils nationally meaning pupils made better progress than their peers nationally.  The progress children have made between Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 puts us in the top 5% of schools nationally

The progress score for Writing is -0.1.  Children at Livingstone made on average similar progress to their peers nationally.  The progress children have made between Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 puts us in the middle 20% of schools nationally. 

The progress score for Maths is +1.8.  Children at Livingstone achieved on average 1.8 scaled score points more than pupils nationally meaning pupils made better progress than their peers nationally.  The progress made between Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 puts us in the top 25% of schools nationally.

We had already identified that we needed to continue to build on our work on developing the teaching of writing and will continue to focus on this as a school.
